Wednesday November 6th, Am I a Designer organizes an inspiration-workshop about new business models in Human Centered Design at the Herengracht in Amsterdam. The aim of this evening is to explore the different business possibilities within Human Centered Design (and the new company Am I a Designer in specific), and exchange experiences, ideas, and thoughts in an informal setting.
The challenges with implementing Human Centered Design compared to ‘normal’ Design are aspects like that there is no clear outcome to sell, that the best human centered outcome isn’t necessarily the best financial outcome for a client, and that generated social impact can be unpredictable and difficult to measure. How can successful cases be transformed into a repeatable (financially viable) business model? How can we ensure that sharing knowledge works for us instead of creating more competition?
